WHO WE ARE

Born and raised in Richmond, Lowell has been apart of this community his entire life. As a proud graduate of Madison Central High School and then Eastern Kentucky University, Lowell has a great love for this city, area, and its people. As a CPA, Lowell D. Land, CPA continues to serve the Richmond community with the idea that those he works with are not just clients, but friends.

Lowell D Land, CPA offers bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation for indivduals, families and small business owners.  We offer bookkeeping, financial statements, financial planning, small business consulting, IRS resolution, payroll taxes, estate taxes and tax returns preparation/filing. We start with the basics:  bookkeeping, payroll and filing those local, state and federal reports that are required from individuals, businesses and non-profits.

WHAT WE DO

Every client is important to me and my wife, Katherine.  You don’t have to ask for tax planning or consulting. I like to quote Judge Learned Hand when he famously wrote:

“Any one may so arrange his affairs that his taxes shall be as low as possible. He is not bound to choose that pattern which will be best to pay the treasury, there is not even a patriotic duty to increase one’s taxes.”

I think that philosophy applied equally to all of our clients is what has worked well. Remember, I want to be your friend.

TAX (IRS) RESOLUTION

The IRS reported over 15 million delinquent tax accounts through 2019 and the pandemic will only accelerate the problem for 2020 and beyond. LDL has a great deal of experience and training in tax liability and resolution for individuals and small businesses.  Our Tax Resolution specialized services include challenging the liability, establishing an installation agreement, and preparing and offer-in-compromise.

TAX FILING & PREPARATION

Lowell serves multiple states to provide tax preparation and tax resolution for individuals and small to mid-size businesses, whether filing as Individual, Sole Proprietor, Partnership, Corporation, S-Corp, Trusts, Gifts of Estates, and Exempt Organizations for all federal, state and local tax filing. We also prepare payroll, quarterly and sales tax reports.
