With over 30 years of CPA experience, Lowell D. Land strives himself on building relationships with clients, all while priding himself on offering the best financial and accounting services in Madison county and surrounding areas.
Born and raised in Richmond, Lowell has been apart of this community his entire life. As a proud graduate of Madison Central High School and then Eastern Kentucky University, Lowell has a great love for this city, area, and its people. Lowell received a BS degree in Accounting at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond KY.
As a CPA, Lowell continues to serve the Richmond community with the idea that those he works with are not just clients, but friends. Lowell brings much experience, trust, and commitment to the CPA field, and he would love to work with you.
Lowell has extensive business experience including :
- Real Estate experience by ownership in farms, residential, and commercial properties
- Small Business Experience by owning and managing several businesses including: restaurants and lounges, wholesale plumbing and electrical supplies, and dry cleaners
- Founded the first “Small Farm Winery” in Madison County, Kentucky
- Operations included: Vineyard Management, Wine Production, Restaurant & Gift Shop Management, Wine Tastings and Retail Sales, Wholesale and Distribution, Tourism, Wedding and Event Services, Community Involvement, and Entertainment
- Recognized as the “Best Startup Small Business in Southeastern KY” in 2007
- Appointed by the Governor to the Kentucky Grape & Wine Council
- Served as President of the oldest Vineyard Society in the United States
